Reporting Illegal Content and Copyright Infringement
Last updated: October 22, 2026
1. Overview and Scope
If you find illegal content or an infringement of rights such as copyright in content that Onyu (the Discord bot and web dashboard) displays or generates, such as web dashboard screens and the card images, messages, and reports the bot sends, please let us know using the methods on this page.
Messages and files that users post directly in a Discord server are hosted by Discord, so Onyu cannot delete them. For such content, please contact the administrators of that server or use Discord's reporting features.
2. Where to Report
We recommend submitting through the form on this page. If the form is unavailable, you can also submit through the inquiry channel on the official Onyu support server (https://discord.gg/SXezuaEm4b).
The form requires your name and contact details, and personal information submitted through the form is handled under the Privacy Policy. The inquiry channel is public, so please do not post your real name or contact details there.

3. What to Include When Reporting Illegal Content
To review a report, we need the following.
- The exact location of the content (information that identifies it, such as the server name or ID, the page address (URL), or a message link)
- A sufficient explanation of why you believe the content is illegal
- Your name and an email address or Discord account where we can reach you (reports concerning child sexual abuse material are accepted without a name or contact details)
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate and submitted in good faith
4. Copyright Infringement Notices
A copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf, may send a copyright infringement notice that includes the following.
- The name of the rights holder (and of the representative, if a representative is sending the notice) and an email address or Discord account where they can be reached
- Identification of the work you claim has been infringed
- The location of the infringing content
- Material showing that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on their behalf
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its representative, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate
- A signature (an electronic signature, such as typing your name, is acceptable)
If required items are missing, the operator may ask you to supplement the notice.
5. Counter-Notice (Request to Restore)
If display of your content was stopped because of a copyright infringement notice and you believe you have the right to use it, you may submit a counter-notice to the same channel. Please include the following.
- Your name and an email address or Discord account where we can reach you
- The content whose display was stopped and its location
- The reason you believe you have the right to use it, and supporting material
- A statement that the information is accurate and submitted in good faith
When a counter-notice is received, we will inform the person who sent the notice and review it.
6. How Reports Are Handled
Reports and notices are handled in the following order.
- We confirm receipt and, for reports submitted through the form, show a receipt number on screen.
- We review the content and, where necessary, ask for additional information.
- If we determine it is necessary, we promptly take action such as stopping the display of the content or restricting related features.
- The operator tells the reporter (and the affected user, where applicable) the outcome and the reasons for our decision directly, using the contact details provided (email or Discord).
If you disagree with a decision, you can raise an objection through the same inquiry channel.
